Very Well, so the Kalmindon debacle is done and dusted. I know I’ve been cheated by a pair of very smart brothers with a very plausible line, it’s cost me 3k that I shelled out for SEO training that I could have got from the internet for free, with no possibility at all of the promised clientele that was ‘guaranteed upon course completion’ turning up. They were meant to have a ‘pool of clients’ waiting to have their website optimised and they would just join me up with the ones either in or adjacent to the Black Country.

Of course the foul thing, which applies for all of us who have been scammed, is not the loot that we all shelled out to the Brothers Grim, but the funds we used up in the meantime. Because they gave us a website of their own to go with which required plenty of articles, fifty in my case, in the expectation that a paying client was forthcoming and I could begin to get some sort of income. In my case that means that as I started the training in April I have been using my own money to support us during that period and now here we are in November and it is just about all gone. Luckily, the cost of living in the Black Country is much less than it would be in a lot of areas, but it could not continue forever, and it has not.

But, what I have come away with is the knowledge that I was not alone and some bright others have also been swindled equally so I am not the only berk. But what I can do now is to mix both abilities and offer SEO and IT support and hopefully get some regular business coming in.
